Key Responsibilities
- Perform general cleaning and upkeep of an assigned area within a commercial or institutional facility.
- Complete tasks such as dusting furniture, vacuuming floors, cleaning windows and glass partitions, and servicing restrooms.
- Gather and empty trash receptacles and replace liners.
- Follow specific procedures for the safe use of chemical cleaners and powered equipment.
- Wipe down and sanitize tables, chairs, and equipment in food service or common areas.
- Perform light seasonal tasks such as sweeping walkways, removing snow, or raking leaves as needed.
- Notify a manager of any maintenance needs or repair issues observed in the building.
- Maintain a professional and cooperative relationship with clients, coworkers, and supervisors.
Qualifications
Who We Are Looking For:
- Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
- No prior work experience or high school diploma/GED is required.
- A strong work ethic, reliability, and a positive attitude.
- The ability to follow instructions and comply with all safety and quality standards.
- Customer service skills or one year of similar work experience is a plus, but not mandatory.
- Military veterans and candidates with military experience are strongly encouraged to apply.
