Key Responsibilities
- Perform proactive and reactive maintenance on manufacturing equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize unplanned downtime.
- Respond swiftly to emergency breakdowns, utilizing strong troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical issues.
- Read and interpret mechanical diagrams and schematics to perform accurate repairs and modifications.
- Uphold the highest standards of safety, mutual respect, and human dignity in every task.
- Complete preventative maintenance schedules and work orders as assigned by leadership.
- Utilize and maintain proficiency in skills such as machining, welding (e.g., acetylene), and operating material handling equipment (e.g., forklifts, cranes).
Qualifications
To Succeed, You Will Need:
- More than one year of hands-on experience in industrial equipment maintenance and repair.
- Certifications or professional knowledge in one or more of the following: machine tool operation, acetylene (gas) welding, forklift operation, and fixed crane operation.
- The ability to read and draw mechanical component diagrams.
- A proactive learner and leader who performs at the highest level, values a caring performance culture, and is committed to safety, quality, and integrity.
