Key Responsibilities
Your role is central to our daily branch operations and customer satisfaction. A typical day will see you:
- Providing exceptional customer service and product information to tradespeople both in person and over the phone.
- Preparing accurate quotes and processing sales efficiently.
- Picking and packing orders, managing stock control, and maintaining organised shop floor displays.
- Ensuring the branch remains tidy, safe, and well-presented at all times.
- Making local deliveries to customers using a company vehicle.
- Using in-house computer systems to look up products, check stock, and process transactions.
Qualifications
We are looking for a team player who brings:
- Experience in retail sales, customer service, or a similar trade-facing role.
- A proactive, helpful attitude and a genuine enjoyment in assisting customers.
- The ability to handle physical tasks like lifting stock and maintaining displays.
- Computer literacy and a willingness to learn new systems.
- A clean, valid driver’s licence.
- Flexibility to work a rotating roster, including weekends.
