Key Responsibilities
As a key member of our fleet, you will be entrusted with the safe and efficient transport of specialized freight. Your primary duties will include:
- Safely operating manual transmission tractor-trailers to deliver general freight (pipe, steel, lumber, equipment) across Western Canada.
- Performing expert load securement and tarping to ensure safe transit in all conditions (training provided).
- Conducting thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections and maintaining accurate documentation.
- Providing exceptional, professional customer service at every point of delivery.
- Adhering strictly to all company safety policies, procedures, and transportation regulations.
Qualifications
To be a successful candidate, you must possess:
- A valid Class 1 license with a minimum of 2-3 years of verifiable experience driving manual transmission tractor-trailers.
- Direct experience with flat deck operations, including load securement and tarping. Mountain driving experience is a strong asset.
- A positive, professional attitude with excellent customer service and time management skills.
- An unwavering commitment to safety and compliance with all operational procedures.
- The ability to plan routes efficiently and work independently.
