 About the Role
This is a full-time, fixed-term traineeship based primarily at our Botany Depot. You’ll be immersed in the dynamic civil construction industry, combining on-the-job learning with formal study to achieve a nationally recognised Certificate III in Civil Construction. It’s the perfect all-rounder introduction for anyone passionate about working outdoors and building a tangible career.
Your Key Responsibilities
You’ll learn the trade by doing, supported by experienced professionals every step of the way.
- Assist skilled workers with a variety of civil construction and maintenance tasks under direct supervision.
- Learn to safely operate hand tools and small plant equipment used in construction and maintenance.
- Work outdoors as an integral part of a supportive and safety-focused team.
- Successfully enrol in and complete all requirements for the Certificate III in Civil Construction.
- Strictly adhere to and learn all safe working practices and procedures on site.
- Attend required induction and training sessions as scheduled.

- A genuine interest in mechanics and how things work.
- Maths and English skills at a Year 10 level.
- A strong willingness to enrol in and commit to completing the Certificate III qualification.

- A current NSW White Card (or the willingness to obtain one promptly).
