Key Responsibilities

As the central hub for our crane crew operations, you will have a diverse and impactful set of duties. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Scheduling and allocating crane crews across multiple sites and projects throughout NSW, ensuring optimal resource deployment to meet project timelines.
  • Liaising closely with internal managers, project teams, and external clients to understand needs, coordinate labour, and provide clear communication.
  • Managing the recruitment, onboarding, and ongoing leadership for the crane crew, providing effective direction and support to on-site teams.
  • Conducting regular site visits to maintain strong operational awareness, coach teams on Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) standards, and build relationships.
  • Proactively developing and maintaining strong relationships with both new and existing customers to support current projects and identify future opportunities.

Qualifications

We are looking for a proactive communicator and planner who can navigate a complex operational landscape. You will bring:

  • Exceptional Organisational Skills: Outstanding attention to detail, time-management, and the ability to prioritise effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Industry Experience: Knowledge and experience working within the construction or a related industry. Prior experience in mobilisation, labour scheduling, or resource allocation is highly desired.
  • People Orientation: A genuine passion for a people-focused role, with strong communication and interpersonal skills to lead teams and manage stakeholder relationships.
  • Technical Proficiency: Confidence in using the Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel, for scheduling and reporting.
