Key Responsibilities
You will be the frontline guardian of our product quality, with key duties including:
- Executing and refining detailed testing protocols for home theater receivers, amplifiers, and audio processors.
- Creatively exploring products to identify edge cases and potential issues beyond standard test plans.
- Operating electronic test equipment and diagnostic tools to validate performance, reliability, and integration.
- Testing critical features like streaming service integration (Google Cast, Spotify, AirPlay), surround sound decoding (Dolby Atmos, DTS:X), and multi-device compatibility.
- Documenting bugs with precise reproducibility steps and collaborating with engineering teams on solutions.
- Developing essential test plans from product requirements and assisting in equipment calibration.
- Ensuring a flawless out-of-box experience, from initial setup to long-term reliability across all control methods (app, remote, physical).
Qualifications
We are looking for a curious and detail-oriented individual who brings:
- A deep, genuine passion for consumer electronics, especially high-fidelity audio/AV.
- A proactive, problem-solving “hacker” mentality and a love for thinking outside the box.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Experience using streaming platforms like Apple AirPlay, Google Cast, and Spotify.
- Proficiency with basic computer systems and Office suites; experience across multiple operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux, iOS, Android) is a strong asset.
- Hands-on experience with electronic test tools or soldering equipment is a significant advantage.
- Excellent communication skills in English. Formal electronics education is a plus, but passion and practical skill are paramount.
- Adaptability to rapidly changing tasks and requirements in a dynamic environment.
