Key Responsibilities
You will be an integral part of our multidisciplinary maintenance team. Your key duties will include:
- Providing high-quality painting and decorating maintenance services across Metro South Health facilities, with a primary focus on Logan Hospital.
- Managing work priorities effectively to meet compressed timelines within a dynamic healthcare environment.
- Ensuring all work complies with stringent safety, quality, and infection control standards.
- Utilizing digital maintenance systems to manage work orders and documentation.
- Contributing to a positive and collaborative workplace culture through effective communication and strong interpersonal skills.
- Applying analytical and problem-solving skills to address maintenance challenges efficiently and effectively.
Qualifications
We are looking for a tradesperson who aligns with our values and brings:
- A trade qualification as a Painter and Decorator.
- Demonstrated experience in a commercial or institutional maintenance setting (healthcare experience is highly advantageous).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven ability to adapt to shifting priorities and work effectively within a team.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and relationship management skills.
- A current driver’s license and the ability to work across multiple sites as required.
- A genuine commitment to ethical practice, safety, and quality.
