Key Responsibilities
As a Transportation Driver, you will be a key part of our Residents’ daily lives. Your responsibilities will include:
- Safely transporting Residents to and from scheduled appointments, outings, and community activities.
- Providing attentive, individualized assistance to help Residents enter and exit vehicles securely and comfortably.
- Observing Residents closely, noting any changes in behavior or condition, and communicating these observations promptly to the appropriate care team members.
- Maintaining detailed and accurate logs of trips, incidents, and vehicle condition.
- Upholding the highest standards of cleanliness and infection control within the vehicle.
- Following all emergency procedures and completing required ongoing trainings to ensure the utmost safety.
Qualifications
We are looking for candidates who naturally embody the following qualities and meet these requirements:
- A valid driver’s license and a safe, reliable mode of transportation are required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with seniors in a patient, respectful manner.
- Must successfully pass a background check and provide documentation of a clear TB screening.
- A reliable, calm demeanor and a genuine willingness to serve others are essential.
- You must be a self-starter who can work with minimal supervision, maintain an excellent attendance record, and be physically able to assist Residents (standing, walking, light lifting, bending).
- Prior experience in senior care, transportation, or a similar service role is a strong advantage.
