Key Responsibilities
You’ll be part of our afternoon-night cleaning team, delivering consistent, high-standard results across a variety of commercial and retail sites.
- Complete scheduled cleaning duties to a high, consistent standard across client sites in Newcastle, Thornton, Maitland, and Mt Thorley
- Work independently or as part of a small team, following site-specific cleaning specifications
- Use commercial cleaning equipment safely and effectively full training provided
- Maintain professional conduct and presentation while representing Gabes on client sites
- Communicate clearly with your supervisor and report any site issues or maintenance needs
- Contribute to a positive, reliable team culture where everyone takes pride in their work
Qualifications
We’re looking for reliable, punctual people with a positive attitude. Experience is welcome, but it’s not the main event.
You must have:
- A valid Australian driver’s licence and reliable transport to get to and from work locations
- The ability to work independently and follow instructions without constant supervision
- Good attention to detail and pride in delivering clean, finished work
- Reliability and punctuality our clients depend on us showing up when we say we will
- Willingness to learn and take direction
- Legal right to work in Australia
It’s an advantage if you have:
- A current Working With Children Check (WWCC) or willingness to obtain one
- Previous cleaning experience (commercial, retail, or residential)
- Familiarity with the Newcastle, Thornton, or Maitland areas
Experience is not required. We provide full training on equipment, products, and site specifications.
