We are looking for a Site Coordinator or Project Engineer with solid engineering expertise and 3 to 5 years of relevant experience to join our building services team. You will be the on-ground link between design intent and site execution coordinating suppliers, supervising subcontractor installations, managing shop drawings, and ensuring every material and method complies with the ISO quality plan. This is not a desk-based planning role. You will be on site, solving problems, inspecting work, and keeping progress on track. If you have a Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent, strong coordination skills, and the ability to communicate clearly with contractors, suppliers, and clients, this role offers responsibility, variety, and competitive compensation.

Company Overview
We are a established building services and construction engineering firm serving Singapore’s commercial, institutional, and infrastructure sectors. Our scope includes mechanical and electrical systems, fit-out works, and integrated building services installation for complex projects.
Unlike specialist design consultants, we are execution-focused. Our engineers and coordinators are not just reviewing drawings—they are on the ground, ensuring that what was specified is actually installed, tested, and compliant. We work closely with main contractors, statutory authorities, and a network of suppliers and subcontractors. If you are looking for a role where your engineering knowledge is applied daily to solve real site problems, and where your coordination skills directly impact project success, you have found it.
Key Responsibilities
Site Coordination and Problem-Solving
- Demonstrate strong site problem-solving and coordination skills to clients, addressing technical issues, interface conflicts, and unforeseen conditions promptly.
- Maintain close coordination with the main contractor and other trades to minimize rework and resolve construction conflicts.
- Attend client meetings, internal coordination sessions, and site progress reviews, providing clear updates on status, issues, and mitigation plans.
- Assist the Manager with daily site operations, ensuring alignment with master schedule, quality standards, and safety requirements.
Engineering and Compliance
- Apply solid engineering expertise, particularly in design interpretation and compliance with Singapore building services codes of practice and statutory requirements.
- Ensure all materials supplied and installations executed by suppliers and subcontractors comply with the approved ISO quality plan and project specifications.
- Inspect incoming materials and completed installations to identify non-conformance, rectify defects, and prevent recurrence.
- Prepare, review, and manage shop drawings and drawing coordination activities, ensuring alignment with consultant’s intent and site conditions.
Project Controls and Progress Monitoring
- Develop and maintain work schedules, monitoring site progress against baseline programmes and communicating variances to management.
- Coordinate, monitor, and control suppliers’ materials, equipment deliveries, and subcontractor installation quality to meet project milestones.
- Manage site materials and equipment effectively to reduce wastage, prevent damage, and optimize storage.
- Communicate closely with suppliers and subcontractors to anticipate and prevent delivery delays that could impact project progress.
Productivity and Innovation
- Explore new technologies, tools, and installation methods to enhance site productivity and construction quality.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the project team and wider organization.
- Perform other duties consistent with the role as assigned.
