What You Will Be Doing
- You will follow the rules of safe conduct at all times, making safety your top priority on every job.
- You will accurately interpret and apply information from work orders, job orders, and specifications.
- You will identify, recognize, and demonstrate safe usage of hand tools and power tools appropriate for the job.
- You will recognize various materials used in the craft and demonstrate a working knowledge of appropriate material handling techniques.
- You will select and safely use appropriate equipment, which may include manlifts, forklifts, and company trucks.
- You will identify, recognize, and demonstrate safe usage of appropriate personal protective equipment for the craft.
- You will perform industrial insulation work according to project requirements and quality standards.
What We Are Looking For
- You must have a minimum of two to five years of experience as an industrial insulator.
- You must be authorized to work lawfully in the US without sponsorship from Wood.
- You have a strong commitment to safety and follow safe work practices at all times.
- You can accurately interpret work orders, job orders, and specifications.
- You are proficient in the safe use of hand tools and power tools relevant to industrial insulation.
- You have working knowledge of various insulation materials and proper handling techniques.
- You can safely operate equipment such as manlifts, forklifts, and company trucks as needed.
- You understand and consistently use appropriate personal protective equipment.
