What You Will Be Doing

  • You will follow the rules of safe conduct at all times, making safety your top priority on every job.
  • You will accurately interpret and apply information from work orders, job orders, and specifications.
  • You will identify, recognize, and demonstrate safe usage of hand tools and power tools appropriate for the job.
  • You will recognize various materials used in the craft and demonstrate a working knowledge of appropriate material handling techniques.
  • You will select and safely use appropriate equipment, which may include manlifts, forklifts, and company trucks.
  • You will identify, recognize, and demonstrate safe usage of appropriate personal protective equipment for the craft.
  • You will perform industrial insulation work according to project requirements and quality standards.

What We Are Looking For

  • You must have a minimum of two to five years of experience as an industrial insulator.
  • You must be authorized to work lawfully in the US without sponsorship from Wood.
  • You have a strong commitment to safety and follow safe work practices at all times.
  • You can accurately interpret work orders, job orders, and specifications.
  • You are proficient in the safe use of hand tools and power tools relevant to industrial insulation.
  • You have working knowledge of various insulation materials and proper handling techniques.
  • You can safely operate equipment such as manlifts, forklifts, and company trucks as needed.
  • You understand and consistently use appropriate personal protective equipment.
