Key Responsibilities
- Assisting with the construction and maintenance of heavy civil infrastructure including roads, bridges, drainage, culverts, and land development.
- Operating hand and power tools safely and effectively.
- Loading and unloading construction materials.
- Assisting machine operators (spotting) and tradespeople as needed.
- Ensuring work areas are kept clean, safe, and organized.
- Adhering to all health and safety regulations on site.
- Performing other general labour duties as required by the site supervisor.
Requirements
- WTR endorsement is essential (Class 5 would be great!).
- Physically fit and capable of performing manual labour in a variety of weather conditions.
- Ability to follow instructions and work well as part of a team.
- Reliable with a strong work ethic.
- Commitment to health and safety practices.
- A valid driver license and reliable transport.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug & alcohol and medical test.
