We’re looking for an experienced Machine Operator to join our civil construction team! You’ll be operating a range of plant and machinery on site, including excavators, bulldozers, rollers, loaders, and more. The work involves bulk earthworks, site prep, drainage, roading, and general civil construction tasks. You’ll also hop out of the machine when needed to support the team. If you have 2+ years of experience in civil construction and a strong commitment to safety, we want to hear from you.

About the Role
This is a hands-on role where you’ll be operating various plant and machinery across a range of civil projects. You’ll work as part of a supportive team, ensuring tasks are completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard. When you’re not in the machine, you’ll assist the team on the ground, so a positive attitude and willingness to pitch in are essential. GPS experience on excavators is a massive bonus!
What You’ll Be Operating
- Excavators-Diggers (various tonnage) – GPS experience is a massive bonus!

- Rollers and Compactors
- Loaders
- Other civil plant as required
What We’re Looking For
- 2+ years experience operating in civil construction.
- Confident and safe around services and tight spaces.
- Able to finish to a good standard when required.
- WTR endorsement + Full NZ Drivers Licence.
- Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player.
- Good communication and safety awareness.
Requirements
- Must pass a pre-employment drug & alcohol test.
- Physically fit and happy to assist on the ground.
- Legal right to work in New Zealand.
