Key Responsibilities
- Carry out plumbing and drainlaying work across a diverse range of residential new builds, renovation projects, and commercial developments throughout the Mackenzie Country region, applying qualified trade skill and genuine workmanship pride to every project from initial rough-in through to final commissioning and sign-off
- Install, connect, test, and commission plumbing systems including hot and cold water supply, sanitary drainage, stormwater, gas fitting where applicable, and associated fixtures and fittings across both residential and commercial project types in accordance with New Zealand building code requirements and Hiflo Plumbing’s quality standards
- Install, lay, connect, and test drainage systems across new build and renovation projects, working accurately and to the correct grades, depths, and specification requirements applicable to residential and commercial drainlaying work in the Mackenzie region
- Read and interpret architectural plans, plumbing drawings, and drainage specifications accurately and apply that information correctly to the installation work on each project site, coordinating with builders, project managers, and other trades where required to ensure plumbing and drainage work integrates correctly with the broader construction programme
- Maintain high personal workmanship standards on every job completed, taking genuine pride in the quality, neatness, and durability of the plumbing and drainage installations you produce and representing Hiflo Plumbing’s reputation for quality in every client and contractor interaction on site

Qualifications
