Key Responsibilities
- Customer Service Excellence:Â Provide differentiated customer service by anticipating needs, demonstrating compassion in every interaction, and actively identifying and resolving potential service issues before they escalate.
- Warm Greetings:Â Focus on the customer by giving a warm and friendly greeting, maintaining eye contact, and offering help locating additional items throughout the store.
- Cashier Duties:Â Accurately perform cashier responsibilities, handling cash, checks, and credit card transactions with precision while following all company policies and procedures.
- Sales Floor Maintenance:Â Maintain the sales floor by restocking shelves, checking in vendors, updating pricing information, and completing inventory management tasks as directed by the store manager.
- Store Operations:Â Support opening and closing store activities when needed, ensuring the store is ready for business and secure at the end of each shift.
- Department Support:Â Provide customer support across all departments, including photo and beauty, ensuring areas are fully stocked and operational while staying current with updated services and tools.
- Pharmacy Assistance:Â Assist pharmacy personnel when needed, including working regular shifts in the pharmacy as part of opportunities for growth and career development within the company.

Qualifications
To be considered for this role, you must be at least 16 years of age. You should be comfortable remaining upright on your feet for sustained periods and capable of lifting and exerting up to 35 pounds of force occasionally, up to 10 pounds frequently, and a negligible amount regularly—including overhead lifting. Close visual acuity is required for activities such as viewing a computer terminal, reading, and visual inspection involving small parts or details. Previous experience in a retail or customer service setting is preferred but not required. A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred. Bilingual skills in English and Spanish are a plus for this role.
