Key Responsibilities

  • Prescription Fulfillment: Follow pharmacy workflow procedures at each workstation—production, pick-up, drive-thru, and drop-off—to ensure safe and accurate prescription fulfillment every time.
  • Patient Experience: Contribute to positive patient experiences by showing empathy and genuine care at every interaction. Offer immunizations and other services to keep patients healthy, and solve or escalate problems as needed.
  • Inventory Management: Complete basic inventory activities as permitted by law and directed by pharmacy leadership, including putting away medication deliveries, cycle counts, returns-to-stocks, and waiting bin inventories.
  • Team Contribution: Contribute to a high-performing team by embracing a growth mindset, being receptive to feedback, and actively seeking opportunities to expand clinical and technical knowledge.
  • Flexibility: Remain flexible for scheduling and business needs, including traveling to other stores in the market to work shifts as needed. Support a safe, inclusive, and engaging team dynamic.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Must comply with any state board of pharmacy requirements or laws governing the practice of pharmacy, including age, education, and licensure/certification.

  • If the state board does not mandate a minimum educational requirement, must have a high school diploma or equivalent, or be actively enrolled in a high school or equivalency program.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician.
  • Previous experience in a pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting.
  • Ability to work in the home store and across the market in other locations as needed.
