Key Responsibilities
- Operate industrial dishwasher equipment
- Wash, sanitize, and maintain plates, drinkware, utensils, pots, pans, and cooking equipment
- Maintain clean and organized dish rooms and kitchen work areas
- Sweep, mop, and clean floors; empty trash receptacles
- Assist prep cooks and kitchen staff during peak times, including basic food prep
- Load and unload food or supply deliveries
- Perform opening, closing, and side work duties
- Clean up spills or broken glassware immediately
- Follow proper sanitation practices and safety procedures
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Excellent customer service skills and etiquette
- Current Food Handler’s Card, if applicable
- Effective communication skills with team members
- Ability to work in warm to very warm kitchen temperatures
- Willingness to learn chemical usage and sanitation procedures
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Compensation and Benefits
- Pay Range: $16.00 – $19.00 per hour (based on experience)
