Key Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional customer service to clients at branch counters while assisting with transactions and financial inquiries
- Identify opportunities for up-selling and cross-selling banking products and services to maximize new business acquisition
- Handle deposits, withdrawals, account openings, and other banking services in compliance with KYC and CDD policies
- Maintain accurate records, post general ledger entries, and ensure cash reconciliation in teller tills
- Monitor and report suspicious activities, accidents, or unsafe work conditions to supervisors
- Support the Branch Operations & Service Manager in achieving service quality and compliance objectives
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and new customers
- Comply with all applicable regulatory requirements, anti-money laundering procedures, and the bank’s Code of Conduct
Qualifications
- Fluency in Mandarin, with strong written and verbal communication skills
- Relevant banking certifications including deposit account, foreign exchange, or trust account qualifications (as applicable)
- Minimum of six months experience in branch operations for deposit account handling, with successful completion of required BSO tests
- Experience in foreign exchange operations or trust services is an advantage
- Strong numerical and analytical skills, attention to detail, and a proactive mindset
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced office environment
- Knowledge of anti-money laundering policies and customer support procedures
