Key Responsibilities
- Take full ownership of day-to-day store operations, ensuring everything runs smoothly and efficiently.
- Lead, motivate, and inspire a team of hospitality professionals, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Host and engage with customers, creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring high-quality service.
- Oversee rostering, wage control, and managing labour costs in relation to revenue to ensure profitability.
- Maintain attention to both the big picture and the finer details, from customer service to back-end operations.
- Handle busy periods by jumping onto the floor and managing the store’s performance in real-time.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and operational standards, creating a safe environment for both staff and customers.
Qualifications
- 2-3+ years of experience managing a high-volume hospitality site.
- Proven ability to lead and build strong, motivated teams, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with POS systems (Lightspeed experience is a plus).
- Strong understanding of rostering, wage control, and managing labour costs effectively against revenue.
- Highly organized, reliable, and punctual with a keen eye for both detail and the bigger picture.
- Exceptional customer service skills, with a natural ability to turn even the grumpiest customer into a loyal fan.
