 Your Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will be the central hub for all store maintenance and construction support, ensuring efficiency and minimal disruption. Your core duties will include:

• Managing the full lifecycle of maintenance tickets from dispatch and vendor coordination to tracking, updating stores on progress, and final closure.
• Supporting new store openings and renovations by coordinating initial maintenance setups and necessary vendor services.
• Maintaining precise records of all service requests, quotes, invoices, and preventive maintenance schedules.
• Reviewing vendor proposals and change requests, and assisting with the processing of purchase orders and budget tracking.
• Serving as a key communication link between stores, vendors, and internal teams to resolve issues promptly.
• Providing administrative support to the Construction Director, including document filing, organizing project folders, and drafting correspondence.
• Assisting in resolving on-site design issues, change requests, and material challenges while maintaining clear communication with general contractors and subtrades.

Skills and Experience You’ll Need

To excel in this role, you will bring:

• Proven experience in construction coordination, maintenance management, or a similar operational role, preferably within the retail sector.
• Exceptional organizational and coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a time-sensitive environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a diplomatic and professional approach to problem-solving.
• A keen eye for detail and a solid understanding of compliance regulations related to workplace and construction.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and Adobe Acrobat or Bluebeam Revu.
• Flexibility to adapt to shifting priorities and the willingness to travel locally to various store sites as required.
• Knowledge of the process for construction completion certificates is a strong asset.
