Key Responsibilities

Working collaboratively with another Cleaner, you will be essential to the daily operation of our site. Your key duties will include:

• Following and completing all daily, weekly, monthly, and periodic cleaning schedules to a high standard.
• Safely performing physical cleaning tasks such as mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and sanitising bathrooms and toilets.
• Operating and maintaining appropriate hand tools, power tools, and cleaning equipment.
• Utilising and maintaining Safety Data Sheets (SDS) for all cleaning chemicals.
• Proactively identifying and reporting any potential workplace health and safety or maintenance issues.
• Strictly complying with all health, safety, and organisational procedures.

Qualifications

We are looking for a reliable, safety-conscious individual who takes pride in their work. To succeed in this role, you will need:

• A current driver’s licence and reliable transport to get to our Bundaberg site.
• A proven track record of safely performing physical, manual work.
• The ability to carefully follow specific instructions, work schedules, and prioritise tasks effectively.
• A respectful, team-oriented attitude and a commitment to IMPACT’s community values.
• A background in domestic or commercial cleaning is beneficial but not essential we value a strong work ethic most of all.
• A willingness to obtain a Working with Children Check and other relevant clearances.
