 Key Responsibilities

As a Welder-Fabricator I, you will be essential to our maintenance and operations success. Your core duties will include:

• Performing high-quality fabrication, modifications, and repairs on plant equipment, components, and structures to ensure continuous operation.
• Utilizing MIG, TIG, and Stick welding techniques, with a focus on executing precise sanitary welds that meet strict food-grade industry standards.
• Safely operating shop machinery including milling machines, lathes, and drill presses to complete assigned projects.
• Reading and interpreting basic diagrams, sketches, and work orders to understand project requirements.
• Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work area, adhering to all company safety protocols and procedures.
• Collaborating effectively with maintenance and production teams to prioritize and complete tasks that minimize downtime.

Qualifications

We’re looking for a reliable and skilled individual with the following background:

• A minimum of one (1) year of related welding experience and/or formal training is required.
• Demonstrated skill in MIG, TIG, and Stick welding; experience with stainless steel and making food-grade repairs is a significant plus.
• Proficiency in operating standard shop machinery like milling machines, lathes, and drill presses.
• The physical capability to perform the job, including walking, standing, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds regularly.
• A strong teamwork ethic, a willingness to learn, and a genuine desire to build a long-term career with a stable and growing company.
