 Key Responsibilities

As a key member of our driving team, you will be entrusted with the safe transport of our customers’ goods. Your core responsibilities will include:

• Safely operating company tractors and trailers to transport freight on assigned local and highway routes.
• Conducting thorough pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections in full compliance with all MTO and DOT regulations.
• Ensuring all shipping documents are accurately completed and managed throughout your trip.
• Maintaining clear and professional communication with dispatch and customers to ensure timely pick-ups and deliveries.
• Strictly adhering to all Hours of Service (HOS) regulations and company safety policies at all times.
• Promptly reporting any mechanical issues, delays, or safety incidents to dispatch.
• Taking personal pride in maintaining the cleanliness and professional appearance of your assigned equipment.

Qualifications

This role requires proven experience and an impeccable safety record. To be considered, you must possess:

• A valid, clean AZ Driver’s Licence with an Air Brake Endorsement (Z endorsement).
• A minimum of two years of verifiable AZ driving experience, including experience driving in winter conditions.
• A clean Driver’s Abstract and CVOR.
• A clear Criminal Record Search.
• Solid knowledge of Canadian HOS and MTO regulations and the ability to use Electronic Logging Device (ELD) systems.
• Excellent communication skills and a proven ability to work effectively within a team-oriented environment.
