 Key Responsibilities

You will be the face of our company for many customers, responsible for the timely and safe delivery of their goods. Your daily tasks will include:

• Completing pickup and delivery runs on assigned routes across Hamilton, ensuring all parcels are handled with care.
• Accurately loading and unloading your delivery vehicle and using a handheld scanner to track every parcel.
• Providing friendly and professional service at each stop, representing our company positively.
• Performing basic daily vehicle safety checks and maintaining a clean and tidy vehicle.
• Managing your time effectively to meet all delivery deadlines and following all road safety and company procedures meticulously.
• Communicating clearly with the depot team regarding any delivery issues or route changes.

Qualifications

We are looking for a candidate with the right attitude and capability to handle this active role. To be successful, you will need:

• A current, clean Full New Zealand Class 1 Driver’s Licence.
• Good physical fitness to handle the manual loading and unloading of parcels throughout the day.
• A strong sense of reliability, punctuality, and a dedicated work ethic.
• The ability to work independently with minimal supervision, managing your own schedule to meet targets.
• Basic English communication skills for customer interactions and following instructions.
• A willingness to work early morning starts and full working days (typically 40-45 hours per week).
• The ability to pass a pre-employment drug test and criminal history check, where required. Previous delivery experience is advantageous but not essential.
