Key Responsibilities
As a Facilities Attendant, you will provide essential services that directly enhance a visitor’s day. Your duties will include:
- Performing thorough cleaning and sanitation of Parks Canada buildings, offices, and public facilities, with a special focus on maintaining impeccable washroom standards.
- Restocking supplies, such as soap and paper products, to ensure facilities are fully equipped.
- Supporting the overall presentation and upkeep of the park’s operational buildings.
- Contributing to a positive and memorable visitor experience through your attention to detail and pride in the park’s appearance.
Qualifications
To be considered for this role, you must:
- Be legally authorized to work in Canada (Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or hold a valid work permit).
- Reside or be employed within a 120km radius of Maitland Bridge, Nova Scotia.
- Demonstrate relevant experience in cleaning and sanitation through concrete, detailed examples in your application.
- Have a strong work ethic, reliability, and an understanding of the importance of cleanliness in a public, high-traffic environment.
