Key Responsibilities

As a Mine Site Cleaner, you will be essential in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for everyone on site.

• Perform thorough cleaning of high-traffic communal facilities, including offices, crib huts, washrooms, and locker rooms.
• Conduct waste removal and manage proper disposal procedures.
• Operate equipment like pressure washers to clean pathways and outdoor areas.
• Perform light grounds maintenance duties as required.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and time-management schedules in a fast-paced team environment.

Qualifications

We are looking for team members who are safety-conscious and ready for the physical demands of a remote site. To be considered, you must:

• Hold current Australian work rights and a valid driver’s license.
• Reside in the Central Queensland area with your own reliable transport (DIDO only).
• Be physically fit and conditioned to work 10-12 hour days in a demanding environment and extreme weather.
• Possess basic computer skills and have access to a computer for mandatory online training.
• Be able to pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol test.
• Have a willingness to travel to sites around Moranbah and the surrounding region.
