Key Responsibilities
You will be the technical authority on-site, responsible for the optimal performance and reliability of our facilities. Your core duties will include:
- Directly supervising the inspection, preventive maintenance, and repair of complex MEP and HVAC systems to ensure uninterrupted operations and compliance with all regulations.
- Managing facilities projects, including capital improvements, asset replacements, and construction, from scope definition and planning through to completion, while managing budgets and risks.
- Overseeing all facility operations, including contractor and vendor management, janitorial services, and repair and maintenance activities, ensuring work meets stringent quality, safety, and ESG standards.
- Utilizing advanced diagnostic skills to troubleshoot systems, perform predictive maintenance, and recommend innovative, energy-efficient solutions for upgrades or replacements.
- Leading and developing a team of technicians, planning work rosters, and ensuring effective communication and timely completion of all work orders.
- Maintaining meticulous records, documentation, and databases for all facility services and projects, and preparing detailed reports.
Qualifications
We are looking for a candidate with a robust technical background and proven leadership in facility management. The successful applicant must have:
- Tertiary education in Electrical, Mechanical, Building Services Engineering, or a related field.
- A minimum of 10 years of solid experience in facility management, building services maintenance, or construction/engineering, ideally from an owner, contractor, or specialist firm.
- An Approved Electrical Worker License (Grade A) is essential.
- Deep, practical knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems, with the ability to work from blueprints, schematics, and use diagnostic tools like multimeters and amp meters.
- Strong project management skills, with experience in planning, scoping, budgeting, and stakeholder communication.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities, a commitment to safety, and proficiency in MS Office applications.
- Fluency in English; additional language skills relevant to the APAC region are a plus.
- Willingness to work on a shift schedule and travel to different facility locations as required.
