Key Responsibilities
As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of our services. Your core duties will include:
- Safely operating our modern fleet of trucks and equipment to complete daily collection or delivery routes in the Dunedin area.
- Performing thorough pre-start vehicle checks each morning to ensure your truck is in perfect working order.
- Working collaboratively with teammates to provide exceptional, reliable service to our customers every day.
- Adhering to all health, safety, and environmental procedures at all times, both on the road and at customer sites.
- Being physically active throughout your shift, which involves a significant amount of walking and manual handling as part of the role.
Qualifications
We are looking for dependable individuals with the right attitude and availability. Here’s what you need:
- A current, clean New Zealand Class 1 (Car) driver’s license is essential. If you are motivated, we can support the right candidate in obtaining their Class 2 or 4 licence through our in-house training program.
- Must have New Zealand residency, citizenship, or a valid NZ open work visa.
- Â Must be available for early morning starts and occasional weekend work. You must be physically fit and able to work shifts that may exceed 8 hours when required.
- Â A strong, reliable work ethic, punctuality, a safety-first mindset, and a positive, team-oriented attitude.
- All successful applicants must pass a Ministry of Justice criminal background check and a pre-employment medical, including a drug test.
