Key Responsibilities
- System Operations:Â Operate all jobs under the proper and timely usage of the Dimerco Value Plus System, including accurate data entry and sales/cost entry for each shipment.
- Customer Service Excellence:Â Maintain services toward customer satisfaction through effective communication and coordination with customers, carriers, and affiliated business suppliers and partners.
- Shipment Coordination:Â Handle and coordinate Air Export shipments internally and externally with customers, Dimerco offices, and agents to ensure smooth execution on a daily basis.
- Financial Documentation:Â Generate internal Debit Notes for Dimerco offices and agents, ensuring accuracy and timely processing.
- Pre-Alert Communication:Â Send pre-alerts to overseas agents to keep all parties informed of shipment status and expected arrivals.
- Customs Compliance:Â Monitor and handle Air Export customs declarations, ensuring all documentation meets regulatory requirements.
- Shipment Tracking:Â Follow up and update shipment information related to Air Export and Brokerage activities, keeping all stakeholders informed of progress.
- Additional Duties:Â Perform other assignments as directed by management to support the team and business needs.
Qualifications
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Prior freight forwarding and/or logistics experience is a plus but not required—training will be provided for the right candidate.
Skills and Competencies:
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong multitasking abilities and attention to detail.
- Team player mentality with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and with external partners.
- Proficiency with computer systems and data entry; experience with logistics software is an advantage.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Problem-solving mindset with the ability to coordinate complex shipments.
