 Key Responsibilities
You will be responsible for the physical handling and preparation of air cargo, ensuring it meets all airline and security standards. Your primary duties will include:
- Sorting, counting, and verifying incoming and outgoing airport cargo against shipping documents to ensure complete accuracy.
- Professionally packing, reinforcing, and labeling cargo according to strict airline transportation standards to prevent damage during transit.
- Safely operating packing tools and equipment such as stretch wrap machines, box sealers, and manual pallet jacks to improve workflow efficiency.
- Coordinating with airline and freight forwarder schedules to ensure all outbound cargo is prepared and delivered on time for flight departures.
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work area at all times, strictly adhering to all airport safety and security regulations.
Qualifications
We are looking for candidates who are a good fit for this regulated and physical environment. The ideal candidate will have:
- A secondary school graduation certificate or equivalent.
- Basic Chinese literacy skills to understand cargo documents and work instructions.
- Good physical fitness with the ability to lift and move heavy items, and adapt to shift work and long periods of standing.
- A meticulous, steady, and responsible work ethic with strong attention to detail and teamwork skills.
- Must pass a standard airport background check and hold a valid Hong Kong Identity Card with legal authorization to work in Hong Kong.
- Previous experience in airport ground handling, warehousing, or logistics is preferred, but not mandatory as full on-the-job training is provided.
