Key Responsibilities

  • Production Operations: Operate production lines, maintaining and troubleshooting high-speed packing, processing, and other machinery to ensure continuous workflow and minimal downtime.
  • Preventive Maintenance: Perform regular preventive maintenance and calibrations on equipment, identifying potential issues before they cause disruptions.
  • Troubleshooting and Improvement: Troubleshoot mechanical issues as they arise, using root cause analysis to resolve problems and implementing improvements to prevent recurrence.

Qualifications

You should have applied mechanical skills, including knowledge of various machinery and equipment such as engines, pumps, compressors, conveyors, gears, and bearings. Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, diagnostic equipment, and precision instruments is essential. You should understand system integration and how components interact within automated systems. Strong technical troubleshooting, problem-solving, and root cause analysis skills are required, as are interpersonal and teamwork abilities.

Physical Requirements:

  • Use basic hand and power tools.
  • Lift up to 50 pounds by bending and stooping.
  • Climb, stand, and move around on stairs, ladders, and platforms.
  • Twist, turn, and bend as needed.
  • Stand on concrete floors for extended periods.
  • Discern visual and audible alarms and signals for equipment start-up.

You will work on a 2-2-3 rapid rotation schedule with 12-hour shifts, rotating between days (5:30 am to 6:00 pm) and nights (5:30 pm to 6:00 am).
