Key Responsibilities

As an owner-operator in our fleet, you are in business for yourself. Your primary responsibilities in this partnership will include:

  • Safely and efficiently operating your tractor to transport dry van freight along our designated lanes, primarily in the eastern United States.
  • Ensuring all cargo is properly secured and transported in accordance with all safety regulations and customer requirements.
  • Maintaining detailed and accurate logs (via our provided E-road ELD system) and complying with all hours-of-service (HOS) regulations.
  • Communicating effectively with dispatchers regarding load status, delivery updates, and any issues encountered on the road.
  • Maintaining your tractor in safe and reliable operating condition, as you are responsible for its physical damage insurance and upkeep.

Qualifications

This opportunity is for established owner-operators. To qualify, you must possess:

  • A valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A with a clean driving record.
  • Your own operating authority (MC number) and a properly insured and maintained tractor.
  • A proven track record of safety, reliability, and professionalism as an owner-operator.
  • The ability to run Over-The-Road (OTR) routes, with a focus on regions east of I-35.
  • A commitment to compliance with all federal and state transportation regulations.
