Key Responsibilities
As a Driver or Helper, your daily duties will include:
- Safely operating delivery vehicles, including box trucks, to transport goods to designated locations.
- Loading and unloading cargo with care, ensuring proper handling and securing items during transit.
- Following assigned routes and schedules while maintaining timely deliveries.
- Providing exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients during pickups and deliveries.
- Performing routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safe operation.
- Using equipment such as pallet jacks for efficient loading and unloading.
- Maintaining accurate delivery records, including logs of mileage, fuel usage, and delivery confirmations.
- Adhering to all traffic laws and company policies while driving.
- Working collaboratively with your driver/helper partner to get the job done efficiently.
Qualifications
We’re looking for reliable team players with a clean record and a customer-focused attitude.
Required Qualifications:
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift heavy items (up to 50 pounds) and perform physical tasks associated with moving cargo.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with clients.
- Must be able to pass background checks as required by company policy.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in courier or delivery driving.
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and logistics.
- Experience in route driving with knowledge of local roadways.
- Commercial driving experience is an advantage.
Compensation and Schedule
- Pay: $160 – $200 per day
- Job Types:Â Full-time, Part-time, Contract, Temporary (flexible to fit your needs)
- Shifts:Â Morning shift, Day shift
- Work Days:Â Monday to Friday, with weekends as needed
