Key Responsibilities
- Follow assembly drawings, specifications, and computer information systems to prepare parts and build subassemblies, modules, and accessories for new gas turbine engines where tooling and process methods are established.
- Assist with engine test operations and perform component and accessory tests as assigned.
- Use overhaul and repair procedures and specifications to perform mechanical work to overhaul engines, modules, and related components.
- Obtain parts, check details for conformance to assembly requirements, and fit and measure components to ensure overall dimensions are within specified limits.
- Use mechanic’s hand tools, holding fixtures, and specialized assembly equipment to build engine sections and perform installation of details.
- Maintain equipment and tooling for assigned areas.
- Provide related support for test operations and assist with testing under direct supervision and specific test schedules.
- Perform similar duties to assist with co‑producer, customer support, retrofit projects, and to accommodate new engine programs and changes in specifications.
Qualifications
A high school diploma or equivalent combined with formal training in a specialized field achieving an A&P license or equivalent is required. Alternatively, four years of technical high school including technical post‑high school certification plus five or more years of heavy automotive experience will be considered. Experience as an aerospace mechanic or A&P mechanic is preferred, with three or more years of avionics mechanic experience also valued. U.S. citizenship is required for this position.

This full time second shift position offers a competitive hourly rate ranging from USD 28 to USD 38 per hour depending on experience and qualifications.
