Our commitment is to provide reliable, cutting-edge pump and power solutions, backed by a team of professionals who are passionate about performance and innovation. Joining us means being at the heart of a growing, supportive team with a clear vision for the future.

Key Responsibilities

In this vital workshop-based role, you will ensure our rental fleet operates with maximum reliability. Your key duties will include:

  • Building, wiring, and commissioning new pumps, generators, and control systems.
  • Performing diagnostics, fault finding, repairs, and preventative maintenance on a diverse range of equipment.
  • Ensuring all work is completed to the highest standards of quality and safety.
  • Occasionally travelling to customer sites in the Waikato region for urgent breakdown support or on-site repairs.
  • Collaborating closely with the operations and logistics teams to meet service deadlines and maintain fleet availability.
  • Staying current with new technologies and systems within our evolving fleet.

Qualifications

We are looking for a practical, solutions-focused technician with a strong electrical/mechanical aptitude. The ideal candidate will have:

  • Proven hands-on experience in a similar technical role, such as in industrial maintenance, automotive/heavy vehicle electrical, or power generation.
  • Experience with pumps and/or generators is highly advantageous.
  • Solid skills in electrical diagnostics, wiring, and working with electronic engine management systems.
  • A collaborative, team-focused attitude and the ability to work independently when required.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to maintenance and repairs.

Experience with telemetry systems or controllers (Kensho, Deepsea, ComAp, Macquarie) is a bonus but not essential for the right candidate.

Benefits and Perks

This is a great opportunity to build a long-term career with an ambitious company. We offer:

  • A competitive hourly rate of $45 – $50.
  • A permanent, full-time role in our brand-new, modern Hamilton workshop.
  • Penalty rates and on-call allowances.

  • A supportive, professional team environment within a fast-growing national business.
  • Opportunities for ongoing training and career development as we expand.
