Key Responsibilities
As a key member of our baking team, you will be responsible for the end-to-end quality of our production. Your core duties will include:
- Operating and overseeing plant-based baking machinery and production lines to manufacture our products efficiently and to specification.
- Utilising your deep understanding of ingredients and processes to make precise adjustments, ensuring consistent batch quality.
- Strictly adhering to all food safety, quality, and workplace health and safety procedures and company policies.
- Proactively monitoring equipment to ensure it runs smoothly and without interruption, troubleshooting minor issues where possible.
- Working collaboratively with the Factory Manager and team members to meet daily production targets and share knowledge for continuous improvement.
- Maintaining accurate documentation and contributing to a high-performance team culture.
Qualifications
We are looking for a qualified professional with a proven track record in manufacturing. The successful candidate will have:
- A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in a plant-based baking role.
- A strong passion for baking and a commitment to ongoing learning and development.
- Excellent practical knowledge of work health and safety, with relevant certificates (e.g., H&S, Food Safety) being highly regarded.
- Strong literacy and numeracy skills for accurate recipe following and documentation.
- The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a close-knit team.
- A positive, professional attitude and a reliable work ethic.
