Key Responsibilities
You will take a lead role in our station-based maintenance operations. Your key duties will include:
- Leading a small team to perform and oversee maintenance activities for Architectural, Builder Works, and Finishing (ABWF), Plumbing & Drainage (P&D) systems, and civil assets.
- Monitoring the performance, quality, and safety of maintenance contractors on-site, ensuring all work meets our strict standards.
- Coordinating and supervising corrective and repair (C&R) works within your responsible area.
- Assisting in the preparation and upkeep of essential maintenance documentation related to safety, quality, and environmental compliance.
- Performing shift duties as required, including weekends and public holidays.
Qualifications
We are looking for candidates with one of the following combinations of education and experience:
- A Higher Diploma -Higher Certificate in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronic, or Building Services Engineering, plus a minimum of 1 year’s relevant experience.
- A Diploma – Certificate in the above engineering fields, plus a minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience (or 2 years’ post-apprenticeship experience).
- Candidates with extensive practical experience but lower formal qualifications will also be given serious consideration.
- Strong communication and supervisory skills are essential.
- A proactive, safety-first mindset and the ability to work under pressure.
