Key Responsibilities

Your work will directly impact our guests’ experience, making their stay pleasant and memorable.

• Thoroughly clean and sanitise assigned motel rooms to a high standard, ensuring every area is guest-ready.
• Perform all cleaning duties including dusting, vacuuming, mopping floors, and cleaning bathrooms.
• Strip and make beds with fresh linen, replenish guest amenities, and empty all rubbish bins.
• Assist with basic front desk duties as needed, such as answering phone calls and managing reservation inquiries.
• Work efficiently to manage the daily workload, with the understanding that finish times may vary based on occupancy and tasks.

Qualifications

We are looking for a trustworthy individual who meets the basic criteria and has a great attitude.

• Must be a New Zealand Resident or Citizen.
• A strong eye for detail, reliability, and a positive, self-motivated work ethic.
• Good communication skills and a friendly demeanour for interacting with team members and occasionally assisting guests.
• The physical ability to perform cleaning tasks, including bending, lifting, and being on your feet for periods of time.
• While previous cleaning experience is preferred, it is not essential as guidance will be provided.
• Flexibility with hours, understanding that this is a casual role with 10-15 hours per week typically starting at 8:30 AM or 9:00 AM.
