Key Responsibilities
- Perform general cleaning duties including sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, and surface sanitisation to maintain a high standard of cleanliness.
- Maintain cleanliness in communal areas, restrooms, kitchens, and circulation spaces, ensuring all areas are presentable and hygienic.
- Ensure all areas are kept tidy, free from litter, and safe for use at all times, responding promptly to spillages or hygiene concerns.
- Use cleaning products and equipment in line with COSHH and health and safety guidelines to ensure safe practices.
- Work independently during evening shifts, managing time effectively to complete all assigned tasks within the scheduled hours.
- Maintain professionalism when working in sensitive or busy environments, representing the company with reliability and attention to detail.
Qualifications
Candidates must have the right to work in the UK and be willing to undergo an enhanced DBS check. Previous cleaning experience is desirable, but full training will be provided for candidates who demonstrate the right attitude and work ethic. A basic understanding of COSHH and safe working practices is preferred. A strong sense of responsibility, reliability, and attention to detail are essential. The ability to work independently and maintain professionalism in sensitive or busy environments is important.
