 Key Responsibilities

You will be the technical lead, ensuring the smooth operation of all critical material handling and facility systems.

• Serve as the Lead Mechanic, providing guidance, delegating daily tasks, completing shift handoffs, and acting as the primary technical contact for management.
• Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair a wide range of material handling equipment (conveyors, sorters, case erectors) including advanced relay logic, PLCs, motor controls, and communication protocols.
• Maintain industrial electrical systems, including power distribution, branch circuits, and lighting, and design/build specifications for new circuits.
• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on powered industrial equipment (e.g., Raymond, Crown forklifts) and basic building/HVAC systems.
• Ensure all work is documented in the CMMS system and that safety procedures are strictly followed by all associates.

Qualifications

This role requires significant, certified expertise in multiple technical areas.

• High school diploma or equivalent, with 2-10+ years of progressive maintenance experience.
• Must be certified in HVAC repair, or be a licensed Electrician or Plumber.
• Repair certification for powered industrial equipment is required.
• Advanced knowledge of PLC ladder logic (for troubleshooting), communication protocols (Profibus, Modbus, etc.), and MHE peripherals.
• Proven ability to lead, communicate effectively across all levels, and work independently or as part of a team.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand/walk for 8 hours, and work in various environmental conditions (noise, heights, dust, variable temperatures).
