What You’ll Be Doing

Provide Excellent Customer Service: You’ll be the point of contact for customers receiving deliveries. Friendly, efficient, and accurate service is essential.
Perform Safety Checks: Before and after each delivery, you’ll inspect trucks and trailers to ensure they’re road-ready and safe.
Follow Loading Protocols: Use chains and binders to secure cargo properly, and re-check stability throughout deliveries.
Record Data Honestly: Contribute to company records by accurately logging delivery times and hours worked.
Pull, Load, and Unload Cargo: Handle products carefully to maintain quality throughout the delivery process.
Adhere to Traffic Safety Regulations: Follow all traffic laws, exercise caution in treacherous conditions, and report unsafe situations to supervisors and authorities.
Use GPS for Routing: Stay informed of route information and communicate any changes to supervisors and colleagues.
Use Basic Tools: Operate power tools and pallet jacks as needed for loading and unloading.
Maintain Cleanliness: Keep the fleet, yard, warehouse, and store clean and organized at all times.
Assist as Needed: Be ready to help with any other duties assigned or needed.

Experience and Education

High School Diploma or GED: Required.
Delivery Experience: Two years of experience working as a delivery driver with no legal or safety incidents on record.
Substitution: Experience and education may be substituted for one another.
Tech Skills: Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Denali, and internet is a plus.

Requirements

Valid Driver’s License: Must have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
Drug Testing: Must be able to pass random drug tests.
Forklift Certification: A plus, but not required.
Physical Capability: Ability to lift 75 pounds safely and consistently.
Knowledge of Driving Rules: Familiarity with applicable driving rules and regulations.
Team Player: Must be able to work well with others and contribute to a positive team environment.

Pay and Schedule

Hourly Pay: $22.00 – $26.00 per hour
