Key Responsibilities

Your day will be varied and active, centered on the safe and accurate handling of deliveries. Your core duties will include:

• Safely operating company vans or light trucks to pick up and deliver a variety of items and parcels.
• Loading and unloading goods with care to prevent damage.
• Interacting professionally with customers, accepting payments or invoices as required.
• Planning efficient daily routes using maps and trip planning aids.
• Performing thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and maintaining accurate records of mileage, fuel, and any issues encountered.
• Ensuring all trip information is logged correctly and reported in a timely manner.

Qualifications

We are looking for a responsible individual who can represent our company well. The ideal candidate will have:

• A valid Class 5 driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• A secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
• A strong client-focused attitude, good judgement, and a commitment to accuracy in all tasks.
• The ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and handle physical aspects of loading and unloading.
• Previous delivery or driving experience is a valuable asset, but a great attitude and willingness to learn are most important.
