Key Responsibilities

You will be the face of Tradextra on the road, entrusted with representing our brand and values at every stop. Your key duties will include:

• Starting your day by loading customer orders, then efficiently delivering them to sites and businesses across Auckland.
• Adapting your planned route in real-time to accommodate urgent customer requests or last-minute changes—flexibility is key.
• Picking up stock from suppliers and accurately reloading your van to maintain an efficient workflow.
• Building positive rapport with customers, understanding their needs, and keeping the Albany team informed of any updates or issues.
• Managing your time and stock effectively, ensuring all deliveries and pickups are completed accurately and professionally.
• For those interested, gradually learning the sales process by observing customer interactions and building product knowledge.

Qualifications

We are looking for a person who fits our team culture, not just a list of skills. The ideal candidate will be:

• Super flexible and genuinely comfortable when plans change at short notice, maintaining a calm and steady attitude under pressure.
• A natural relationship-builder who can quickly establish rapport, especially with customers in the construction and trade industry.
• A proactive problem-solver with a clean driving record and proven experience driving a large van, including manual vehicles.
• Physically fit and able to safely lift items up to 25kg unassisted as part of daily duties.
• Highly organised, reliable, and able to work independently while keeping the team in the loop.
• Intrinsically motivated by providing great service and interested in the potential to develop into a sales role.
