Key Responsibilities

As a key ambassador for our brand, you will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of our premium floral products. Your core duties will include:

Safely operating a delivery vehicle in full compliance with all MTO regulations and company safety procedures to protect yourself, the public, and our precious cargo.
Loading, unloading, and securing a wide variety of floral products with care, using equipment like pallet trucks and handling carts (both full and empty).
Following designated delivery routes and schedules efficiently to ensure freshness, while providing exceptional, courteous customer service at each stop.
Accurately completing all required documentation, including ELD logs, delivery reports, and processing payments when necessary.
Conducting pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and maintaining the professional appearance of your assigned truck.

Qualifications

We are looking for a safety-conscious professional with the right credentials and attitude. Here’s what you’ll need:

Mandatory Requirements:

A valid, clean G Class Ontario driver’s licence and the ability to provide a clean Driver’s Abstract at your interview for insurance purposes.
A minimum of one full year of continuous, recent truck driving experience as a G Class driver.
Proven knowledge of truck/equipment safety and MTO ELD rules and logbook recording.
Strong proficiency in speaking, reading, and writing English.
Excellent physical fitness for a demanding role: ability to lift boxes up to 60 lbs, climb in/out of the truck, operate a roll-up door, climb stairs, and work in all weather conditions.

The Ideal Candidate Will Also:

Be honest, trustworthy, and demonstrate outstanding time management and work ethics.
Possess a positive, respectful, and courteous demeanor when dealing with customers, coworkers, and the public.
Have the flexibility and availability to work varied hours, with longer days required around major floral holidays (like Valentine’s Day and Mother’s Day).
Previous customer service experience is a valued asset.
