Key Responsibilities

In this hands-on role, you will be essential to the workshop’s success. Your core duties will include:

  • Performing comprehensive service, maintenance, and repairs on a range of trucks and trailers.
  • Accurately diagnosing and troubleshooting complex mechanical and electrical issues.
  • Carrying out scheduled preventative maintenance to ensure vehicle reliability and compliance.
  • Ensuring all work meets strict road safety standards and company quality specifications.
  • Completing all job cards and service paperwork with a high level of accuracy.
  • Adhering to all health, safety, and environmental protocols on site.
  • Contributing to a high standard of customer care through quality workmanship.

What You Bring to the Workshop

The ideal candidate will be a qualified and reliable professional with:

  • A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience working on heavy trucks and trailers, or a relevant Level 4 qualification.
  • Proven expertise in the repair and maintenance of heavy commercial vehicles.
  • A current, full clean Class 4 driver’s licence.
  • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving abilities.
  • Good communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented approach.

    Am 53 years old healthy and energetic,

    My previous employers are Ela Motors,Chevron Texico(Niugini) and Oil Search In the oil field.my highest position was a supervisor.
    I resign in 2021 due to the COVID perdamic,now am self employed but I still have this interest since my youth,If I am considered I would be greathful to join the team of experts technicians.
