Key Responsibilities

As the Electrical Foreman, you will be the technical lead responsible for the hotel’s electrical integrity and team performance. Your key duties will include:

• Leading and managing the Electrical and AV systems team, providing daily direction, technical support, and supervision.
• Assisting the Duty Engineer in tackling emergency breakdowns swiftly and effectively to minimize guest impact.
• Distributing and overseeing work orders and repairs, ensuring all tasks are completed to IEE Wiring Regulations and strict hotel standards.
• Maintaining comprehensive records of all daily work, maintenance activities, and AV system repairs.
• Implementing and participating in the preventive maintenance program for a wide range of systems, including pump motors, control panels, fire alarms, kitchen/laundry appliances, and emergency lighting.
• Managing the inventory of spare parts for all electrical and AV equipment to ensure prompt repair capabilities.

Qualifications

This senior role requires a combination of formal certification, extensive experience, and leadership capability.

Essential Requirements:

• Form 5 education or equivalent qualifications.
• A minimum of 6 years of solid experience in the electrical field, including at least 3 years in a supervisory or foreman role.
• A valid Certificate of Registration of Electrical Workers (Grade A).
• A valid Construction Industry Safety Training Certificate (“Green Card”).
• Proficiency in Cantonese and English for effective team management and reporting.

Preferred Experience:

• Previous experience within the hotel industry or a similar 24-7 hospitality-service environment is a significant advantage.
• In-depth familiarity with IEE Wiring Regulations and the operational demands of a large, complex building.
