 Your Key Responsibilities

Your role will be diverse, centered on the daily care and support of our livestock and horses. Key duties include:

• Providing daily care for livestock and horses, including feeding, watering, and monitoring health and well-being.
• Assisting with general farm maintenance, including mucking out stalls, maintaining paddocks, and cleaning barns and equipment.
• Supporting the breeding program by handling animals safely, assisting with veterinary visits, and maintaining accurate health and breeding records.
• Performing routine farm tasks such as moving hay, repairing fences, and preparing feed.
• Utilizing your organizational skills to maintain clean, orderly workspaces and ensure supplies are well-stocked.
• Working collaboratively with the farm team to complete all tasks efficiently and to a high standard of animal welfare.

We are looking for someone whose personal suitability is as important as any formal qualification. You should be:

• A reliable and consistent team player with a strong sense of responsibility.
• An excellent written communicator, able to maintain clear and accurate logs and records.
• Highly organized and able to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
• A quick learner who can follow detailed instructions and adapt to new procedures.
• Physically capable of performing demanding farm work in various weather conditions.
• In possession of your own reliable transportation, as the farm is in a rural area.
• Available to work a flexible schedule that includes early mornings, evenings, weekends, and on-call shifts as needed. Overtime is available.
