What the Role Involves
- Operating forestry equipment:Â Depending on your experience, you’ll run forwarders, harvesters, or log loaders in Southern New Brunswick operations.
- Working safely and efficiently:Â You’ll operate machines according to J.D. Irving, Limited’s Best Management Practices, making safety a priority every day.
- Maintaining legal requirements:Â You’ll ensure all operations on public roads meet legal standards and regulations.
- Meeting production and utilization targets:Â You’ll work to keep productivity high while using equipment efficiently.
- Working independently in remote environments:Â You’ll need to be self-reliant and comfortable working alone in the woods.
