Key Responsibilities
In this integral role, you will be cross-trained across key warehouse functions. Your day will involve:
- Loading and unloading trucks and containers with precision.
- Receiving, checking, and accurately recording incoming goods.
- Picking, packing, and dispatching orders using RF scanning technology.
- Participating in regular stock counts and maintaining meticulous records.
- Providing excellent support to the Purchasing, Parts, and Customer Service teams.
- Upholding the highest standards of safety and housekeeping, following all company systems and procedures.
- Using your initiative to solve problems and respond to queries from colleagues and customers.
Qualifications
To be successful, you will bring:
- A current forklift licence and confident experience operating Reach and Counterbalance forklifts. (Experience with Aisle Masters or Man-ups is a bonus.)
- Proven RF scanning experience and solid general warehouse operational skills.
- A stable work history that demonstrates your reliability and commitment.
- A mature, common-sense approach with strong communication skills.
- A keen eye for detail and a high level of accuracy in all tasks.
- Confidence using computers for warehouse management systems.
- Legal entitlement to work permanently in New Zealand, specifically in Auckland.
